 Ideal parts for a portable rail cannon.

Ok guys it's me Chad here wanting to build a - you guessed it - portable 3.5kJ railgun that I'll can test in the safety of my grandparents back field OR if that does not work out I'll go with my Dad to "a well less known firing range" and test it on wood plank, metal gongs, and plastic sheets. So for doing that I will need to borrow from you guys special safety equipment for testing
the device.

Onward with schematics and sketches, I think Preston has the sketches but I can draw more.

What kind of safety equipment? I don't think we have blast shields.

Railgun or gauss gun aka coil gun?
